Our History
Our Story
Centre for Nature Sustainability and Rural Enhancement – Ghana (CNR-Ghana) was formed in 2022 by a group of development practitioners who through their research and projects realized disparities in growth within and without the developing world. The thirst for development at times, masks these disparities. Consequently, some people fall behind in the development process.
Also, there is the need to protect the environment as environmental damage is the cause of many of the world’s problem (e.g. climate change, poverty, hunger, migration, child trafficking, etc.). A critical examination of some projects being implemented show that they are solutions to the symptoms of environmental damage. Consequently, these projects are likely to fail in the long run if the environment is not secured.
The development practitioners therefore decided to collaborate efforts by forming CNR Ghana to: firstly, not only promote development but to ensure which is one that is inclusive— everyone is carried along the development journey and; secondly, secure mankind’s place on the planet by enhancing clean air, water and energy
